WHAT MAKES US DIFFRENT

Collecting Can Be Frustrating

As collectors, we have found it hard to rely on online and retail sellers to provide consistent quality. With our grading process and tamper-proof system, we strive to provide that consistent quality to the hobby and give buyers a name they can depend on.

FIND TRUST IN US

Grading Brings Peace Of Mind

Building a name that buyers can trust starts with a consistent grading process. Our meticulous grading process guarantees collectors they are purchasing collector quality products and sets a standard for value.

Showcase Your Collection With Confidents

To prevent tampering, we seal every grading case with a numbered hologram. A uniquely numbered holograms is also affixed to the back of the die-cast card. The numbers printed on the holograms also match the number on the grading label inside the sealed case.

WHY CHOOSE VIRTUE GRADING

Experience Unmatched Expertise

With years of experience in collectible grading, our  grading process is built with collector in mind. Our grading process focuses on three main categories: the card, the bubble, and the car. Errors in castings or packaging are considered rare in the community, we believe grading should not effect the value of those errors. Therefore, our process does not grade based on those errors.

(Example: an error in a cars casting or reverse placement will not affect the final grading. Our "car" grade is solely based on the condition of the die cast itself.)

Bubble Grading Scale

We grade every bubble in four categories Cut, Spacing, Surface, and Shape. For each grading category a card can receive one point. For Example: If a Bubble has minor scuffs on the surface it may receive a grade of .75, and a bubble with large visible scratches may receive a .25.

Card Grading Scale

We grade every card in five categories

Color, Corners, Edges, Shape, and Surface. For each grading category a card can recive one point. For Example: If a card has minor edge damage it may recive a grade of .75, and a card with more damage may receive a .25.

Final Grade

After grading all three areas we then total the score and provide a break down of each category.

Car Grading Scale

3.0

All cars will receive a grade 1.0 unless chipping paint or visible damage is seen. Defects in casting and placement are considered rare and do not negatively impact the value. Collectors should be encouraged to collect them.

SEALING AND PROTECTING

After grading, we place numbered holograms to the back of the die-cast card and seal it inside a Sterling case. We seal our cases with matching numbered holograms to ensure against tampering. The numbers printed on these holograms also match the number on the grading label inside the sealed case. If any of these holograms are tampered with or do not have matching numbers the grade should be considered void.

WHO WE ARE AND WHY

We are a group of collectors that strive to find the highest quality examples of mainline products. We search online and retail sources to find the best examples available.

As collectors, we have found it hard to rely on sellers to provide consistent quality. With our grading process and tamper-proof system we strive to provide that consistent quality to the hobby and give buyers a name they can depend on.
